Micro-Needling

Micro-needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a medical cosmetic procedure that safely promotes skin repair and reduction of the appearance of wrinkles, scars, stretch marks, and other signs of aging.

How does Micro-Needling work?

Micro-needing works by encouraging your skin to make more collagen. It utilizes non-traumatic needles to penetrate the skin at various depths and trigger the body’s spontaneous healing process. This will stimulate increased circulation of the body’s blood component to promote cell formation and new collagen formation.

Does Micro-Needling Hurt?

Micro-needling is minimally and invasive and requires little downtime. With the exception of skin redness and general tingling sensation when the solution is applied, there is no reported pain.

When will I see results and how long will they last?

While some results may be almost instant, your best results usually won’t be visible until four to six weeks after the procedure. There may be some redness immediately following the treatment, though it typically fades within a few days. For maximum effect, it is recommended to complete 3 treatment sessions six weeks apart.
