How does Penthrox work?

Relief will start after approximately 6-10 breaths. If you need stronger pain relief during treatment, you will be advised to take breaths from the inhaler as needed.

When will I see results and how long will they last?
Penthrox provides a rapid onset of action after a few breaths. It continues to last in between breaths and after the maximum dose is taken, though it is a quick recovery. You will need to wait 10-15 minutes post procedure to allow the effects to fully wear off.
